RIDGEWAY – Downtown Ridgeway invites the community to celebrate its heritage during the Arts & Architecture on the Ridge & Museum Day weekend, scheduled for May 1 and 2.
The free, family-friendly event begins Friday with Art Night at the museum from 6 to 8 p.m. at 130 E. Church St. The evening features a viewing and sale of art focused on local landscapes, accompanied by live music from the Sherri Cafaro and Friends Band.
On Saturday, Museum Day runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., highlighting historic sites in Blythewood, Ridgeway and Winsboro. A special architectural program, “If these historic buildings could only talk,” offers guided tours of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and “front porch tales” shared by local residents throughout the afternoon.
Visitors are encouraged to shop and dine at Ridgeway’s boutiques and restaurants.
