GASTON – Three Blythewood baseball all-star teams take the field this Saturday to open play in the Diamond Youth Baseball Division I District Tournament.
The Coach Pitch team (8U) will open play at 9 a.m. against Gilbert in the double-elimination tournament. The winner will advance to a 3:30 game on Sunday, June 13; the elimination game begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The Minors All Stars (10U) are set to face off with Pineview at 11:30 on Saturday. The winner will advance to an 8 p.m. game on Monday, June 14; the elimination game will be played at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 13.
The Ozone All Stars (12U) will take on Lexington at 11:30 a.m. in the double-elimination tournament. The winner advances to a 4:30 p.m. game on Sunday, June 14; the loser will play at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
