BLYTHEWOOD: A funeral service for Lois Evelyn Boney Rimer, of Blythewood, was held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 11:30 o’clock, at Sandy Level Baptist Church, 408 Blythewood Rd., Blythewood, with the Rev. Dr. E. Benjamin Newman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends beginning at 10 o’clock on the day of the service in the fellowship hall. Mrs. Rimer was born in Blythewood, S.C. June 16, 1924, and was a daughter of the late Edward and Ada Boney. She worked with Stone Manufacturing Company for 35 years. She loved gardening, sharing her rewards with others. She was member of Sandy Level Baptist Church where she helped in the Nursery Division for years. She loved children, may her memory be an everlasting memory in the lives of those children, whom parents entrusted their children in her care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conder Thomas Rimer Sr., a son Condor Thomas Rimer Jr. two sisters, Ruby Carroll, Lucille Barnes, two brothers, Tallie Boney and Dick Boney. Survivors include, daughters, Shirley Watts (William), Jane Fulmer (Daniel), and Ruth Hughes; five grandchildren, Michael A. Watts, Stephanie Fulmer Hollingsworth, Gregory Watts, Dana Fulmer, and James Rimer; five great-grandchildren, Courtney A. Watts, William M. Watts, Micah Hollingsworth, Danielle Hollingsworth, and Nicholas Rimer; a sister, Bernice Demers; and nieces and nephews.
