BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood’s baseball team (4-8-1, 3-4) fell 6-1 to Lugoff-Elgin in the team’s first game since a 3-game stint over Spring Break.
Kellen Moore went 2-for-4 for the Redhawks, who fell behind 6-0 by the top of the sixth inning and scored a run in the bottom of that frame.
The Westwood softball team fell 15-6 to the Demons (5-10, 2-5).
The Redhawks baseball and softball teams travel to Lugoff-Elgin Thursday, then move to a two-game series with West Florence next week.
