Brenda Ann Reynolds, age 67, passed away on February 19, 2025. She was an angel on this earth, always going out of her way to help others. Her greatest joy in life was her family – nothing made her happier than seeing them succeed and thrive. Brenda was known for her deep compassion and selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. She never gave up on people and always believed in the best in everyone.
Brenda’s story is one of extraordinary resilience, boundless love, and unwavering faith. After surviving a life-altering brain aneurysm, she faced an uphill journey, but her strength and dedication to her family never wavered. Despite the challenges and the grief of leaving behind the career she once thrived in, she found peace in the small, yet profound moments shared with her daughters and grandchildren. Whether it was a simple day at home or a spontaneous adventure, Brenda embraced each day with an open heart, always ready to pack her bags and create lasting memories.
Her deep faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. She prayed with such devotion that her knees bore the marks of countless hours spent on them, always ensuring that everyone and everything was included in her prayers. Her unwavering belief filled not only her life but the lives of all those around her with love, peace, and an unshakable sense of calm.
Brenda’s love for her grandchildren was unmatched. She filled their hearts with music, serenading them with primary Church songs, the folk melodies of John Denver, and the soulful tunes of James Taylor. But it was her rendition of “You Are My Sunshine,” sung with so much love, that became their family’s anthem. No matter how it sounded, it was always sung with an abundance of love, a reminder to everyone that, in her eyes, they were the brightest part of her life.
Brenda’s spirit is one that will continue to resonate, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and music that will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
She is survived by her three daughters, Amber Reynolds, Kerri Corn and her husband Randy, and Ashley Moody and her husband Terry; sister, Kay DesRosiers; brothers, Daniel Lynn Medlin and his wife Dolores, and James Michael Medlin and his wife Suzanne; and she was blessed with six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
