COLUMBIA – Fairfield County residents Alivia Martin and Georgia Kate Price, who play volleyball at Ben Lippen School, received All-Region honors for SCISA 4A Region 1 following the end of their 2024 season last weekend.
The two helped lead the Falcons to a 16-15 record this season and a second place region finish with a record of 7-3.
Player of the Year
Martin, a senior, was named 4A Region 1 Player of the Year. In her final season as a Falcon, she racked up 289 kills, 273 digs, 37 aces, and had 472 service receptions in her senior season.
Martin, who has played outside hitter and libero as a Falcon, wrapped her high school career last weekend at the SCISA 4A State Tournament. In 377 sets played in her career, she totaled 1,126 digs, 1517 receptions, 189 aces, and 586 kills.
All Region
Price, a sophomore, tallied 701 assists this season and surpassed the 1,000 assist mark, ending the season with 1,175 career assists. She also had 51 aces and 110 digs this season.
