She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie McDaniel; son, Ronald McDaniel, daughter, Eddie Mae Brown; sister Almenia Kennedy Henderson; and four brothers; Miner Kennedy, Leroy Kennedy, Frank Kennedy and Thomas Kennedy.
Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into nurturing and supporting them.
Mary was a “virtuous woman,” whose strong faith in God guided her every step. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love and compassion in her community. Her giving heart and joyful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She found immense joy in helping those in need, always ready with a kind word or a comforting gesture. Her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 4pm- 9pm each day at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, William and Susan Anderson, at 1274 Coralbean Way in Columbia.
In the words of 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will ward to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
Mary Lucille Kennedy McDaniel’s life was a testament to her deep faith and her commitment to serving others. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
