WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central swept Eau Claire in a double-header on Tuesday. The Griffins (10-2) took down the Shamrocks 16-0 and 16-1 in two four-inning games.
Landon Morgan picked up the win in game one. He struck out six and allowed one hit. Nygel Woodard got the game-two win. He struck out seven, allowed one hit and one run.
Fairfield will travel to Chester tonight for a 6 p.m. game and make the trek across town to Richard Winn for a 6 p.m. game on Monday.
