What is the county doing to fill the county administrator’s job vacancy? What ever happened to the plan?
We knew in January that we were going to need a new administrator by July. What’s the plan? Administration is looking at recruiters, but why haven’t they contacted the Association of Counties? Why haven’t we posted the job or advertised it?
Blythewood did that when they were looking to hire an administrator. They’re right next door, and they got a ton of applicants, good ones. Why can’t Fairfield do that?
Where is our sense of urgency?
We’ve seen the problems from not having a good administrator, from not having a good process in place to hire a good administrator.
Why aren’t we doing something to resolve these problems?
