WINNSBORO – Dorothy Wilson “Dot” Branham, 92, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Samuel and Nellie Gardner Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, James Edward “Eddie” Branham (Norma), Leonard Russell “Rusty” Branham (Cathy), and Richard Allen Branham; daughter, Linda Faye Branham Harrison; two sisters, Abbie W. Skipper, and Mary W. Nickas; five grandchildren, Hank Harrison (Ellen), George King, Cassie Cox (Alan), Jamie Swearingen (Geoff), and Leah Branham; and three great grandchildren, Cali, Ella Grace, and Maci.
In addition to her parents and husband, James Clyburn Branham, Dot is predeceased by one brother, Alfred Wilson; two sisters, Myria Williams and Frances Gunter; and son-in-law, Buddy Harrison.
A service, conducted by Reverend Doug Blaikie, was held at 3:30 pm Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at First Church of the Nazarene, Ninth Street, Winnsboro, SC. The family received friends after the service. Burial was in the First Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dot’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Attn: SC Gift Processing, 4600 Park Road, Ste 250 Charlotte, NC 28209, or to a charity of one’s choice.
