SUMMONS AND NOTICE

TO THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANTS:
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED and required to appear and defend by answering the Complaint in this quiet title action on property known 81.3 acres, more or less, Shelton Road, Fairfield County, South Carolina, being designated in the Fairfield County tax records as TMS # 046-00-00-001-000, of which a copy is herewith served upon you, and to serve a copy of your Answer on the Plaintiff’s attorneys at their offices, P.O. Box 1000, Chapin, South Carolina 29036, within thirty (30) days after the service hereof, exclusive of the day of such service; except that the United States of America, if named shall have sixty (60) days to answer after the service hereof, exclusive of the day of such service; and if you fail to answer, default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
TO MINOR(S) OVER FOURTEEN YEARS OF AGE AND/OR MINOR(S) UNDER FOURTEEN YEARS OF AGE AND THE PERSON WITH WHOM THE MINOR(S) RESIDES AND/OR TO PERSONS UNDER SOME LEGAL DISABILITY, YOU ARE FURTHER SUMMONED AND NOTIFIED to apply for the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem to represent you within thirty (30) days after the service of this Summons and Notice upon you if you so choose. Otherwise, Plaintiff is concurrently filing a Notice of Appointment of Guardian Ad Litem Nisi with this Summons and Notice.
The Summons and Complaint in this matter were filed with the Fairfield County Clerk of Court on July 24, 2019.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an action has been commenced and is now pending in the Court of Common Pleas for Fairfield County upon the Complaint of the Plaintiffs above named seeking a Declaratory Judgment to quiet title to the property described herein below in the name of the Plaintiffs.
Property Description: All that certain piece, parcel or tract of land containing 81.3 acres, more or less, situate, lying and being in Fairfield County, South Carolina, and being bounded as follows: On the North by lands now or formerly of N.F. Shivar; On the East by lands now or formerly of N.F. Shivar; on the South by lands now or formerly of the Estate of Williams Kerr; and on the West by lands now or formerly of N.F. Shivar, and lands now or formerly of the Estate of William Kerr.
