BLYTHEWOOD – The South Carolina Lady Gamecock Rugby team and Oztag USA have partnered up to host an all-day rugby event at the Doko Manor soccer field on Saturday, April 7. Rugby Community Day leads off with an 11 a.m. non-contact flag rugby game with the Oztag development crew, open to anyone interested, regardless of experience.
At 1 p.m., the Gamecock women’s rugby club team takes center stage and to face off against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
After the game concludes, fans are invited to Baker’s Sports Pub and Grill, 7167 Two Notch Rd for happy hour at 4 p.m., and a chance to meet the Lady Gamecocks and Lady Hokies players.
