RIDGEWAY: Funeral services for Marjorie Langley Branham, age 88, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ridgeway Ward, conducted by Bishop Tony Ashworth. The family will receive friends at Pope Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and in the Relief Society room one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Branham died on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at Providence Hospital in Columbia. She was the wife of the late Harvey D. Branham. Born in Redditch, England on April 16, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank David and Elsie Gould Langley. She was an honorable lady who was a dedicated homemaker and seamstress. She was a gatherer of family history and genealogy resulting in her family from around the world being brought closer together.
Surviving Mrs. Branham are eight sons, Mike Langley, David Branham, Roger Branham, Dennis Branham, Richard Branham, Phillip Branham, Steve Branham, Bryan Branham; one daughter, Vanessa B. Smith; 34 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Additionally, Mrs. Branham is survived by nieces and nephews in Australia, New Zealand and England to whom she was a blessing and remained in contact with over the course of her life.
In addition to her husband Harvey D. Branham, she was predeceased by three sons, Robert, Russel, Joseph; one daughter, Gwyneth, four sisters, one brother, four grandsons and one great grandson.
