Voice designer brings home top awards… again

COLUMBIA – The Voice newspaper’s graphics designer, Ashley Ghere, brought home top awards from the S. C. Press Association’s Palmy Awards contest…again.

Ghere earned first place in the Health Services category in the Open Division (including all weekly and daily newspapers) for her design of an ad for Blythewood Dentistry.

“The ad, titled ‘Dive into Summer with a Healthy Smile,’ doesn’t just promote the product or service. It shows the results and the reason why someone would want to engage with this business,” the judges commented.

Ghere also won two second place awards in The Voice’s division: ‘Christmas Open House’ for the Fairfield County Museum and ‘Hunter Lane Farm.’

Also in the Open Division, Ghere placed third with her public service ad titled ‘Get a Dog for a Day,’ urging readers to give a shelter dog a Daycation. Sponsored by Heather Feltner’s non-profit, Hearts Unleashed, the ad benefited the Fairfield County Animal Shelter.

Our advertisers know what great work Ghere does for them week in and week out, and so do we. If Ashley Ghere isn’t designing your ads, your business is missing a great opportunity to catch someone’s eye.
