Russell Scott Robinson, affectionately known to family as “Monkey” and as “Chicken” to many friends, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2026. His sudden passing has left those who loved him heartbroken and struggling to imagine life without his presence.
Scott was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a loyal friend to so many! He was the kind of person who would help anyone in need, always offering a helping hand or a reason to smile. His generosity, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends touched countless lives.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Victoria Robinson; his son, Tristan Robinson; his soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Ashley Counts; his mother, Rennie Boulware and his aunt, Diane Lee. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Francis Robinson.
Scott was also known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his career. He spent many years working in the computer and data center field and was only a few years away from a well-earned retirement. He took great pride in his work and thought so very highly of his coworkers at Atos in Blythewood. More than anything, Scott cherished his family and his dog “Milkshake” aka “Nook”.
In honoring Scott’s life and memory, his family hopes to encourage others to support men’s mental health awareness and suicide prevention efforts. Whether through volunteering, donating, educating themselves, or simply reaching out to someone who may be struggling, we ask that people help continue the conversation that Scott’s passing has inspired. Too often, men suffer in silence, feeling ashamed to share their struggles or ask for help. Scott’s legacy will be one of love, compassion, and a commitment to breaking that stigma so that others know they are not alone. Through awareness, understanding, and open conversation, we hope to help save lives and create a future where seeking support is seen as a sign of strength.
