WINNSBORO – The Winnsboro Women’s Club selected Maggie McManus as its 2026 Judi S. Montgomery $1,000 college scholarship recipient. She also received a $500 scholarship from the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of South Carolina.
McManus is a homeschool student who will be attending Erskine College in the fall majoring in Business and Education. Her ultimate goal, she said, is to work with people and to be of service to them.
McManus is the daughter of Rev. James and Beth McManus.
The Winnsboro Women’s Club was chartered in 1917 and serves the people of Fairfield County in areas of Arts, Education, Family Life, Conservation, and Public Affairs. Our club has provided scholarship assistance to deserving students for many years.
