BLYTHEWOOD – The Westwood baseball team (4-12-1, 3-8 Region 5-5A) Fell 6-1 to West Florence Thursday and 6-3 at Sumter Tuesday.
Agianst the Knights, Nathan Caldwell and Zachary Nelson both doubled. At the Gamecocks, Kaden Ragins was 2-for-3 and Blaize Owen drove in two runs.
Westwood softball fell 10-0 to West Florence Thursday. Carolina Pettway was 2-for-2 for the Redhawks, but Knights ace pitcher Annie Eliason pitched a 3-hitter and struck out 16 Westwood batters, walking none.
The Redhawks lost 6-2 at Sumter Tuesday. Jordin Hammett went 2-for-3 with a double and Regan Remia also doubled.
Both teams are set to face Sumter Thursday for the regular-season finale.
