LUGOFF – Westwood Girls Tennis took down Lugoff-Elgin in their season opener on Tuesday. The Redhawks left Lugoff with a 4-2 win over the Demons. They will play host to Lugoff-Elgin in their home opener on Sept. 10 at 5 p.m.

BLYTHEWOOD – Kyndall Ragins (pictured) nearly led the Redhawks to an upset over conferences foe, York High School. Meera Rogers and Kelsi Sharpe also picked up victories, but the Cougars edged Westwood out 4-3 with a win in doubles.
Redhawk Volleyball and Tennis take down Stallions
ROCK HILL – Tuesday night, the Redhawks avenged the football team’s close loss against the Stallions on the tennis and volleyball courts. The volleyball team swept the Stallions in three sets. The win improved their overall record to 11-7 and to 4-1 in regional play. The tennis also pulled a 4-2 victory over the Stallions.
