BLYTHEWOOD – Fairfield Central’s ROTC team competed in the Richland 2 Drill and Rifle Meet on Oct. 23, held at Blythewood High School. Drill Sergeants from Fort Jackson’s 3rd Battalion Sixtieth Infantry Regiment served as evaluators for the meet as Fairfield’s team competed against nine Army JROTC schools.

WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central senior quarterback Stephon Gadsden was named WLTX Player of the Week for Oct. 13. Gadsden averages 108 passing yards per game this season and has totaled 367 rushing yards in the first 7 games of this season.
