BLYTHEWOOD – During the July 22 town council meeting, Interim Town Administrator Daniel Stines gave the following update to council on hiring and several projects:
The Town has had a good response of applications for the Human Resources Specialist position that was recently advertised. Interviews of the applicants are ongoing and should be concluded by end of August.
The Town will soon be advertising for an Economic development position.
Bids for the soccer field and pavilion projects are being advertised and bids will be opened at 2 p.m., August 29. Anyone may attend.
Town hall staff has finished final reviews of the Town’s zoning update. A PDF is being created and will be posted on the Town’s website.
