BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood golfers shot a season best 295 in the 5A Region 3 Championship at Edgewater on Monday.
Bengal junior Grant Paolucci shot a 69 (-3) on the day to tie as regional medalist. Jordan Hardy, also a junior, shot 70 (-2). Freshman Nolan Palmer shot 75 (+3). Paolucci, Hardy and Palmer’s scores qualified them to the All Region team.
The team’s score qualifies them for the Upper State tournament, held Monday, May 8 at Cobbs Glen in Anderson.
Teams who qualify at Upper State will advance to the two-day 5A State Tournament, held at the Country Club of Lexington on May 13 and 14.
