Richland Library Blythewood is inviting the public to a wall-breaking ceremony at 1 p.m., June 10, at the library at 218 McNulty Road. The event kicks off construction of a new 4,000-square-foot building that will include a teen space, group study room and outdoor programming space. The construction is the first improvement to the library since the current building opened in Blythewood in 1992. The event is free and open to the public. Call 803-587-3637 for more information.
