WINNSBORO – The Fairfield County Arts Council will host a juried art show featuring a new group of work by Fairfield County Arts Council (FCAC) members. The paintings will feature a collection of landscapes in South Carolina and other locations.
The paintings will be on display and for sale during the show on Friday, April 4, at 5 p.m. at The Rectory Gallery, 203 S. Garden Street in Winnsboro.
“The show, judged by Larry Elder of Elder Gallery in Charlotte, N. C., celebrates this popular landscape theme in oils, pastels, acrylic, mixed media and collage,” says Phyllis Gutierrez, President of the FCAC.
“Viewing this variety of landscapes is a celebration of Spring, and it will lift your spirits,” Gutierrez says. “Join us for the showing and a wonderful reception Friday night. Plus, enjoy the beautiful azaleas surrounding The Rectory and St. John’s Episcopal Church Garden.”
