BLYTHEWOOD – Just one week into the regular season, Blythewood and Westwood softball teams faced off in a region game on Tuesday at The Castle.
A productive first inning put Blythewood up 5-0. They added three more in the second and two in the third before Westwood got on the board.
Leading 10-1 Blythewood scored another in the top of the fourth to go up 11-1. A scoreless fifth inning ended the game early.
The teams will play again tonight at 7 p.m. at Blythewood.
