FLORENCE – Tiyanna Mack leaves her historic wrestling career on to. Wrestling in the 130lb class, Mack claimed her third straight individual state title on Saturday in Florence.

Setting history for South Carolina, Mack is the first ever female three-time state champion for the state’s High School League.

Mack finishes the 2024-2025 season with a 27-1 record.

“She will go down in history as one of the greatest athletes in BHS history,” head coach Paul Watson said. He said that Mack will leave a void in the Bengal program, but sees potential junior Audra Petroff.

In her second season of wrestling, Petroff finished fourth over the weekend. With a 30-10 record this season, Watson says Petroff is proof of what hard work and dedication can do for improving from year to year.

The Bengal girls team wrapped the regular season in the semi-finals of the 5A wrestling playoffs.
