Blythewood boys sweep Lemon Street Classic

MARIETTA, GA – With three wins in the Lemon Street Classic Blythewood’s boys basketball team closed out the 2024 portion of their season on a four-game win streak. 

Following a three-point loss to Wren on Dec. 20, the Bengals downed Columbia 78-34 on Dec. 21, then picked up 70-41, 78-56 and 70-65 wins in the Lemon Street Classic to move to 11-2 on the season. 

TJ Lewis averaged 25 points per game in the three tournament wins. Tyler Stephens had 20 points against Valdosta, and 14 points in the wins over Tabernacle Baptist and Greater Atlanta Christian. Torrean Sims put up 13 against Greater Atlanta.

The Bengals will face Westwood tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
