Will’s Weather’s 7-Day Forecast- Sept. 19-25

Will’s Weather

Thursday we have a trough situated off to our west, which is increasing moisture across the area. There is a chance that we will see an isolated shower or thunderstorm this afternoon, but I think much of the activity will stay off to our east.

By Friday, we are trending on the drier side as a ridge builds into the area. The ridge will keep our weather dry, mostly sunny and our temperatures seasonable.

There is still some uncertainty as to what exactly will happen by mid to late next week. Models are hinting towards tropical development in the in the Caribbean or the Gulf of Mexico sometime by early next week. If this were to be the case, we would see a flux of tropical moisture in our area by late next week. Regardless of tropical development, it does seem like we will get more moisture out of the Gulf, which would increase our rain chances. I will continue to bring updates on my Facebook page and will have a new report next week in The Voice of Blythewood.
