BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood boys volleyball hosted Indian Land Tuesday for its first region match of the season (and program history).
The Bengals took an early lead to take the first set 25-17. In the second set, Blythewood trailed, but stayed close and was able to pull away for the 25-20 win.
Down 2-0, Indian Land rallied to claim the third set by the two-point win rule to take the third set 27-25. The win forced a fourth set. Blythewood took an early lead again and held on for the 25-20 win to claim the match with a 3-1 final.
The win improves Blythewood to 3-0 on the season and puts them at 1-0 in region play.
