BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Chamber of Commerce has named longtime chamber member Deb Dollarhide as its new Executive Director.
Dollarhide serves on the Blythewood Chamber Board of Directors and has served as the Gala Committee Chair. She has extensive experience in the fields of banking (loans and finance), sales and marketing, as well as the photography industry here in Columbia and in Mobile, Alabama.
Dollarhide has served as a Vice President and Director of Sales and has traveled extensively honing her skills in building long-lasting relationships.
She has over two decades of political service at the city, county and state levels, having served as president, treasurer, executive committee member, district director, membership chair and as an elected county and state Delegate.
As Blythewood’s newest executive director, Dollarhide says she believes that community engagement, collaboration and helping others is the backbone to the success of the Blythewood business community.
Dollarhide and her husband, George, live in Columbia with their two furry babies, Lexi, and Bailey. Together, the Dollarhides have four children and four grandchildren.
According to a statement released by the Chamber Board, “Deb’s professional and personal careers are governed by these three basic principles: Live, Love and Laugh.”
