FAIRFIELD COUNTY – On Saturday, Aug. 10, Beautifully Blessed Pageantry hosted the 7th Annual Fairfield County Beauty Pageant, celebrating beauty, unity, and community spirit. The event showcased the talents of participants across various age groups, with winners crowned in categories ranging from Early Bird Entry to Mrs. Queen.

Led by co-directors US Miss Modern Shamieka Sims and Shaquana Jeter, both Fairfield County natives, the pageant’s mission is to create ambassadors who promote the beauty and history of Fairfield County, encouraging females of all ages to embrace their uniqueness. The pageant ensures inclusivity, allowing everyone to participate regardless of their financial situation, thanks to community support.

Proceeds from the pageant benefit The Grieving Needs Foundation (G.N.F.), a nonprofit co-founded by Michael P. Sims and Shamieka Bernice Johnson Sims in 2013 in memory of Shamieka’s sister, Brenda Lee Johnson. G.N.F. provides essential resources such as clothing and food to families in Fairfield County and beyond. The foundation’s mission is to help those in need while showing love and compassion.

The pageant was judged by Quoneasha Perry (Neasha) and US Miss Elite Stephanie Neale, and MC’d by Samarya Dorothy Nicole Jenkins.
