WINNSBORO – Come see one of the most beloved musicals of all time in downtown Winnsboro.
The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows a cheerful postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. As the political tide turns and fascism begins to take hold in Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
Directed by Andi Phipps and Ashley Bevensee and assisted by Dori Brandenburg, the pay is set for July 26 & 27 at 7 p.m.; July 28 at 3 p.m.; Aug 2 & 3 at 7 p.m.; Aug 4 at 3 p.m.
