BLYTHEWOOD — Richland School District Two has announced new principals for Bethel-Hanberry Elementary School in Blythewood. Linard McCloud will succeed Shannon Holland as principal of Bethel-Hanberry Elementary School.
McCloud began his 11-year career in education as a music teacher at CDA Public Charter School, served as administrative assistant principal at Dutch Fork High School, and since 2022 he has led Oak Pointe Elementary School as principal.
McCloud holds an Ed.S. in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina (2023), two M.Ed. degrees: in Educational Administration from Charleston Southern University (2018), and in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University-Portland (2015), and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of South Carolina (2012).
