Alice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who created a loving home despite the hardships of life.

She was committed to her work, her children, her grandchildren, and most of all the love of her life, Emmett. She was a devout Christian who loved Jesus and regularly attended Crooked Run Baptist Church.
She was a Navy wife and that afforded them many chances to travel which eventually led she and Emmett to travel around the world after he retired. Alice loved an adventure and despite several health issues, continued to go and experience many exciting places, especially with her and Emmett’s favorite traveling partners, Faye and Eddie. The four of them could make an exciting adventure out of the most mundane trips.
They could draw a crowd and with their crazy antics anywhere they went.
Alice loved spending time with family, playing cards, sharing meals, and having heart to heart talks. She enjoyed cooking and the opportunity to cook whatever Emmett hunted to include, deer, turtle, snake, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, and anything else you could imagine.
