LANCASTER – Blythewood High School fell just short of qualifying for the SCHSL 5A Golf State Tournament. The boys’ team shot a 303 to finish ninth place at the Upper State Championships, held on Monday at Edgewater Golf Club.
Junior Jordan Hardy shot a 74 on the day. After a five-hole playoff, Hardy qualified to compete individually at the state tournament.
The two-day tournament will be held May 13 and 14 at the Country Club of Lexington.
