The Eagle win comes on the heels of an 18-7 defeat of Wardlaw in a region contest, landing the Eagles in second place in the region and earning them a bid to the SCISA Class A championship tournament.
Richard Winn will face Cross Schools to open play of the double-elimination tournament. With only six teams competing in the tournament, the Eagles may face familiar region foes Wardlaw and Laurens Academy.
The first round will be played Friday. Winners will advance to Saturday’s semifinal games. A best-of-three championship series will be played May 13, 14 and 15.
