WINNSBORO – Midlands STEM Charter School’s boys basketball team traveled across town for Richard Winn Academy’s Christmas Classic.
The Mavericks opened the tournament with a loss to host Richard Winn. The Eagles took down Midlands STEM 67-38. Trayton Bevins led Maverick scorers with 13 points. Chris Parker had ten points and Devon Johnson had nine.
In day-two action, Midlands STEM faced off with Cambridge Academy. The Cougars took down the Mavericks 48-26.
