Ann Elizabeth Adair Cail, 88, of Charleston, formerly of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late James and Ivy May Short Adair.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Cail Taylor, grandson, Joseph Ian Taylor (fiancée Emily Cunningham) and great grandson Joseph Liam Taylor; two sisters, Margaret Francis (Robin) and Diane Jacklin; and nephews, Carl Francis, Daniel Jacklin, Andrew Adair and Nicholas Adair.
In addition to her parents, Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Willie A. Cail; brothers, James Adair and Robin Adair.
Ann was affectionately known as, “The English lady.” She always had a smiling face anytime and anyplace.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 11:00 Am. conducted by Rev. Jimmie Burroughs at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
