FORT MILL – Fairfield Central boys took to Fort Mill last week for Catawba Ridge’s Copperhead Classic basketball tournament.
The Griffins faced the tournament hosts in a Thursday game. Catawba Ridge bested Fairfield 82-39.
On Friday, Fairfield matched up with Philip Simmons of Charleston. Despite a tough battle, Fairfield dropped the game 69-44 to the Iron Horses.
The Griffin boys were set to face C.A. Johnson on Wednesday, but scores were not available at press time. Both teams will travel to Great Falls on Friday.
