WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central dropped two games at home to Chester on Dec. 8. The Griffin boys lost a tight 39-44 game to the Cyclones, while girls fell 31-53.
Fairfield Central traveled to Lancaster on Wednesday, but scores were not available at press time. They will play at Chester on Friday. The Griffin girls will play Southside on Saturday in tournament action. The boys will play again on Dec. 28 at York.
Both teams return to action in the new year on Jan. 6 at Great Falls.
