FAIRFIELD COUNTY – Jennifer McGriff has been named Director of Emergency Management. McGriff worked with Fairfield County Emergency Management/911 for 10 years, including four years as a 911 Telecommunicator and six years as Deputy Director.
McGriff has successfully completed the FEMA Emergency Management Institute’s Professional Development Series, is a certified Emergency Medical Dispatch Instructor, and has obtained Class 4 Officer Certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
McGriff holds a B.A. in History from Columbia College and a M.A. in Organizational Management from Ashford University.
McGriff is the daughter of Eddie and Janice McGriff and a 2006 graduate of Fairfield Central High School.
