BLYTHEWOOD – On the heels of their 3-0 defeat of Spring Valley last Tuesday, Blythewood traveled to Fort Mill on Sept 29 for more region play. The Yellow Jackets kept the first set out of reach, taking a 25-10 win. Blythewood dropped the set 25-17. The Bengals rallied in the third, but fell short with a 22-25 final.
Fort Mill (4-2) now sits third in the region behind Nation Ford (5-0) and Clover (3-1). Rock Hill is fourth (2-3) and Blythewood is currently fifth (1-5).
The Bengals face more region competition over the remainder of the season. They will travel to Clover tonight. They’ll host Rock Hill on Tuesday and will travel to Spring Valley on Thursday to close out the regular season.
