WINNSBORO – Fairfield County Farmers and Artisans Market will open Saturday, May 21 with more vendors, more choices, food trucks, children’s amusements and more fun that ever.
“We’ll have lots and lots of vegetables and farm goods,” said the market’s co-manager Michelle Taylor. “Plus we’ll have some new vendors – a cute clothing boutique, jewelry, cosmetics, kitchen items and spices, hemp, flowers – and lots more,” she said.
“Opening day is always lots of fun and very crowded,” so plan to come early, shop, eat, just enjoy yourself with friends and family.”
There will be a free health check-up booth, along with indoor and outdoor vendors.
The market will be open Saturdays, 9 – 12 noon every Saturday (except July 2, May 28 and Sept 3 for holidays.) Special holiday shopping days will be planned for the market on Nov. 12 & 19 and Dec. 10 & 17. Last market of the season will be Oct. 29.
The market is located at 117 E. Washington Street, behind the clock.
