BLYTHEWOOD – When the Blythewood Artists Guild opens the doors for its Holiday Market at the Manor on Dec. 2, the vendors will be offering more than an array of handmade Christmas décor, jewelry, candies, fashion accessories and holiday gifts. The Guild will also offer attendees the opportunity to donate much needed necessary supplies for dogs and cats housed in the Fairfield County Animal shelter.
“With financial cutbacks at the shelter and the increased number of animals that are taken in during the winter months in Fairfield County, the shelter is in dire need of certain necessary supplies (see below),” shelter volunteer Sonja Murphy of Blythewood said. “We are so grateful that the members of the Guild are reaching out to the Blythewood community to ask for help for the shelter in Fairfield County.”
Tree ornaments that support the shelter will also be available for purchase at the Guild’s Holiday Market.
