WINNSBORO – Fairfield County Animal Shelter Director Bob Innes with shelter employees and volunteers, from left: Janice Webb, Samira Ygahi and Victoria Mize were on hand at Drawdy Park last month to help veterinarians’ administer rabies vaccination for almost 70 dogs at the Sheriffs Drawdy Park event. They also handed out the same number of bags of free dog food to those who brought their dogs for the rabies shot.
The Hoof and Paw Benevolent Society also gathered more than 100 signatures on a petition calling for the county to build a new, updated animal shelter. The event was sponsored by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s office.
