ROCK HILL – Westwood runners took to Rock Hill on Saturday for Northwestern’s Trojan Invitational.
With only four runners competing, Redhawk girls didn’t qualify for a team score, but Emma Ashley represented the Westwood girls well, placing 8th with a time of 20:27.00. Christina Tisdale finished at 25:21.00, Annalisa Athanas at 28:32.00 and Faith Tobais at 29:55.70.
The boys placed 8th of 15 teams and 104 runners. William Tyndall led the Redhawks in 16th place with a time of 17:46.60. Aidan Keck followed in 28th at 18:21.50. Joe Eberlin finished at 18:37.80, Bryse Strickland at 19:54.30 and Caden Henderson at 20:10.20.
Westwood is set to compete again on Oct. 2 at the Darlington XC Carnival.
