COLUMBIA – Lady Bengal runners finished seventh of 20 teams at the Skyhawk Invitational on Aug. 21. Eighth grader Anna Kelly pulled an 8th place overall finish, the best of Bengal runners.
Kelly finished with a time of 21:19.42. Other scorers were Mallorie Hogue with a time of 22:23.74, Kendall Shealy with a lifetime best of 22.53.04, Eva Pendleton with a time 23:54.73 and Lily Whitener with a time of 26:11.96.
Blythewood boys finished 12th place of 20 teams. Senior William Lenker finished first for the Bengals in 12th place over all with a time of 17:40.81. Spencer Shealy finished at 18:30.22, Malachi Brooks had a time of 19:52.82, Karlin Hogue finished at 22:27.95 and Pranav Kanumuri finished at 22:48.20.
The Bengals are back in action on Aug. 28 at the Palmetto State Cross Country Festival at Columbia International University.
