Mid Carolina Credit Union is seeking an individual to join our team as a Branch Manager of the Blythewood Office. Applicant will be responsible for overseeing a full range of services to members and prospective members. Applicant will be responsible for daily operations of the branch including but not limited to:
- Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency and employees of the branch. Duties include hiring, directing job assignment, monitoring staff performance, coaching, training and assuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a Loan Officer approving and processing member loans within established policy guidelines. Ensure branch goals are met.
- Ensure all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day. Oversee individual accountability for handling of cash and assists in resolving balancing problems.
- Ensure members requests and questions are promptly resolved.
- Ensure branch personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective jobs. Actively participates in cross-training personnel and assures staff is kept abreast of all products and services.
- Prepare weekly and month-end management reports.
- Is responsible for maintaining the office building, grounds, equipment and fixtures of the branch.
- Is involved with the local community
Education and Experience
- Two to five years of similar or related experience
- High School diploma required
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective manager and expert in the position. Individual must be an effective communicator with staff and members.
