COLUMBIA – Over the weekend, Westwood and Blythewood competed in state qualifying meets. Top athletes from Saturday’s meet will advance to compete for a State title Friday and Saturday at Spring Valley High School.
Blythewood girls who advance to State:
Briana Green – 100m, long jump, triple jump. 4x100m relay
Arianna Williams – 200m, 400m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay
Latavia Bracey-Ransom – 400m hurdles, 4x400m relay
Makeshira Brown – 100m hurdles

Katuria Glover – 4x400m relay

Williams also set a new Blythewood High School record in the 400 dash at Upper State.
