HOPKINS – After a string of first place finishes in March (Camden’s Bulldog Invitational, against Airport and against Northwestern), Blythewood girls track and field wrapped up the month atop the Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic last Saturday.
Makeshria Brown broke the Blythewood High School record for 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.10, and Arianna Williams broke the school record in the 400 meter with a time of 55.67. The Bengals’ top finish qualifies them for the Coaches Classic Elite on April 24.
Also qualifying to participate from Saturday’s meet are:
Brown: 100m hurdles (2nd place, 15.10)
Williams: 400m (1st place, 55.67) and 200m (3rd place, 24.65)
Briana Green: 100m (12.62, 3rd place), Triple Jump (1st), Long Jump (2nd)

Janyia Pinckney: High Jump (3rd place)
