RIDGEWAY – Kevin Williamson, right, owner of Broom Heating and Air of Blythewood and sponsor of The Voice’s 2020 College Bowl U Pick ‘Em contest, presents $300 to Scotty Allen of Ridgeway, this year’s lucky winner.
While several readers picked 9 bowl winners and one picked 10, Allen was the only one to correctly pick 11 out of 13 college bowl winners. Two of the 15 bowl games in the contest were cancelled, so only 13 games were active in the contest. Interestingly, only four readers chose Ohio State to win the Sugar Bowl playoff game against Clemson.
Allen said the $300 is already going to good use.“ My wife bought a kitty tree so her cat could stay above our three dogs, and I’m going to spend some of it at the golf course, then we’ll go out for a nice dinner. We’re enjoying it,” he said.
